It was a perfect weekend for Ernestown Barracuda swimmers Amanda
McCormack and Allie Duff.  Both girls won 6 golds this weekend at the
Eastern Ontario Swim association's semi-annual meet held at CFB
Kingston.   All 6 swims were personal best times for 12 year old
McCormack.   McCormack and Duff won the high point awards for the female
catagories...12 and under, and 13 and over.  The girls were not the only
ones with great results.  The Barracuda team finished 3rd out of the 21
teams, including teams that have many more swimmers.   14 year old Laura
Perry swam to 2 golds, both in backstroke, with fast enough times to
qualify for Eastern Canada's swim meet in 2 weeks.  She took 2nd place
in the 50 M Back as well.  Ryan Coens and Leah Mayer both took home 2
silver medals each.  Hannah Sutherland had 1 silver place finish, and
3-bronze finishes.  Abigail Sutherland took home 3 bronze medals.  Other
medal winners included Stefan  (that's spelt correctly)Ruksys with a
silver in the 1500M race.  11 year old Isaac Kong with a silver in the
50 Breaststroke, Martin Bloestein and Blair Morgan with third place
finishes in Breaststroke.  Rebecca Cronkwright swam to a bronze finish
in the 50 Back.  Many of the medal swims, as well as other swims were
personal best times for the Barracuda's.
