Blair Morgan, racing in the Eastern Regional Kids of Steel Triathlon Championships in Valleyfield, QC, on August 26th, had a good race against a pretty tough field despite his training being reduced leading up to the Championships. Blair (14) competed in the in the14/15 age group and placed 8th out 21 boys. Blair was a member of the Ontario KOS Triathlon team, having qualified for the Ontario KOS Team by placing second at the Lakeside KOS Tri in July (near London). The top three boys and girls in the 14/15 and 12/13 age groups qualified for the Ontario Team. Blair exited the 500m swim in 10th place and managed to move up a couple of spots during the 15km bike and following 4km run. There were teams from Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia in attendance.
