Gord
Emmerson has been head
coach of the Ernestown Barracuda
Swim
Club for 20 plus years. Gord is a Level II certified coach
and is
working on his Level III. His swimmers have excelled setting 11
Provincial Records, 1 Canadian Record and been members of 5 Ontario
Tour Teams and 8 Canadian National Teams. Under his guidance the club
has grown from a small AAAA level club to a A level club and is now a
thriving 60 member Division II club.
Gord enjoys wind surfing in
his limited spare time as well as doing
home renovations. |

Alison Doherty is
back coaching full
time for the Barracudas. Alison swam with the
Barracudas for many years competing at the Provincial and National
level. She has completed a degree from McMaster University where
she swam for the Mauraders for four years, representing her team at the
CIS championships and her teachers certification. Alison has previously coached in the Junior Program
as well as part and full time with the Barracudas. |

Emily Welham is excited to be coaching the Junior
Barracudas. This will be her 8th year on the team and her first year coaching
Juniors. Emily spends much of her spare time at the pool as she is also a part
time lifegaurd and swimming instructor.

Ryan Coens is quite pleased to have the chance to work with the Jr Barracudas. This
will be Ryan's 7th year with the team and first year coaching the Jr Barracudas.
Ryan spends most of his spare time at the pool as he is a part time life guard
and a swimming instructor.
